Luca after narrowly surviving a concert fire that took the life of her best friend now struggles through every day with severe survivors guilt and quite extreme agoraphobia, manifesting in difficulty being almost anywhere but her own home. Although they once knew everything about each other, a lot has changed. In Dirty Letters we meet Luca and Griffin, childhood pen pals who are reconnecting 8 years after Luca stopped writing. Even though this was only ok for me I’m still a fan.
I do love how most of her books are stand alone and that they are all different, dealing with a wide variety of romance tropes and different levels of seriousness and I will pretty much always pick up her latest books soon after they come out. I’ve read most of Vi Keeland’s books and whilst I’ve loved some, just as many have only been 3 star reads for me. This was a romance that I wanted to love but unfortunately only liked.
